Honesty is our policy when it comes to data protection and privacy.  This page has some legal technicalities, but also is underpinned by a genuine concern that we do everything we can to ensure your data is treated with the respect that we would want our data treated.

If you’re a client or supplier, we’ll have your data stored in a number of other places for the purposes of invoicing, paying bills and delivering projects.  This page relates specifically to the marketing data collected via this website or our marketing events, please contact us if you need other information.

Information collected

We collect personal data from visitors to this website through the use of online forms, email hyperlinks and the contact us page.  We collect your details when you email us with an enquiry. We may also have collected your details when we met you at an event or you came to one of our presentations or training sessions.

  • Administering membership of our newsletter distribution list
  • Conducting market research

In all cases our aim is that it is clear what you’re opting into and you’ll have given your consent for us to use your data.

More generally, we do not pass on our data to any third party.  If you’ve attended a workshop, downloaded a content offer or asked to subscribe to our newsletter then we collect your name and email address and use this to send out news and information from Strawberry Brand Studio.  You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time, either by using the unsubscribe feature on the newsletter or by emailing legal@strawberrystudio.co

Where your data is stored?

Mailchimp is our client relationship management tool and collects and stores your data. In this instance, Mailchimp is the data processor and Strawberry Brand Studio is the data controller.

Mailchimp is a cloud based provider with a significant European customer base and impressive commitment to GDPR. More about the Mailchimp commitment to data protection.

Disclosure, opt out and deletion of your data

Disclosures

We’ll not share your data with third parties unless we are obliged to disclose personal data by law, or the disclosure is necessary for purposes of national security, taxation and criminal investigation, or we have your consent.

Data retention and deletion

From May 2018, our policy is to retain data for two years,  If we have not substantive contact with you over a two year period then we’ll delete your record from our database.

Our website may contain links to other websites that are outside our control and are not covered by this Policy. If you access other sites using the links provided, the operators of these sites may collect information from you that will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If We become aware that we have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
